43F - 20 mile bike ride. Slow but good, what a great day. First robins sighted, Northern Harrier

43F
- very tough 17 miles. Very slow, lots of hills after a long lay
off. Abandoned the original route and shortened it up. Left
foot cramps, and calf cramps. Went home and cleaned out hubs and
axles.
1-13-08
44F -
much better ride today. 23 miles/Landry's route. slowed down with
the headwind from the east caused by the oncoming northeaster. No wildlife on the ride, lots of action at the feeder.
3-15-08
37F - some forsythia in bloom, many robins, nesting birds despite 2" of
snow this morning. Been very cold and wet most of February.
Record $ in heat for the month.
3-21-08
43F - It is actually spring. Yesterday it was incredibly
windy so everyone was inside. Today, the real thing. 25 miles through
Sherborn and S. Natick. Slow...but all is good. Nice to see
people out doing yard work. Sparrows nesting in box by feeders.
Many hawks returning and the turkey vultures are back if full stride.
Easter tomorrow. Evidence of beaver activity at Broadmoar.
