The names listed in the pages that follow were extracted from the vital records for the city of Vilna. These lists are
meant to serve the researcher in helping to locate their surname of interest and are not intended to provide full information
provided in the actual records. Due to the large number of names and the number of Vilna researchers and the fundraising efforts
to provide full translations of these records, we cannot provide further information at this time.
Researchers interested in the full translations are referred to the Donor page, whereby a $100 donation allows one to
receive the fully translated records as they are produced.
Full translations are funded by your donations and these will be produced as researchers make financial contributions to
this project. Suffice it to say that with over 160,000 records for the Vilna city records alone, more is always better. In
fact, I would even encourage past donors to consider a strategy of continued donations over time, to enable these translations
to continue.
