--owner of the Kelly Haven, LLC, Marian is also a graduate of Polytechnic University with a Master's degree in Management. Marian worked as a Senior Manager in Verizon for twenty five years, responsible for all needs of the top 200 customers in New York City. She was responsible for disaster recovery efforts  employed after September 11th and led the Midtown Manhattan customers to recovery after the  Blackout of 2003. Marian passed the LSAT with the intent to enter law school but, made the decision to stay with Verizon and raise a family. Marian is a certified CCD teacher, a former ice-skating coach for autistic children with the Special Olympics and a former intake volunteer with Covenant House. Marian holds many certificates of achievement, including those from the Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, the Kennedy-Shriver Foundation for the Special Olympics and the Covenant House "Under 21" Program. Her son, Jonathan, is currently a High School  honors student, a JROTC Sergeant, a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and a talented musician. He was her inspiration for this undertaking, as was her husband, John.  Marian and her family live in Bayridge.

 

--recently retired from a successful career in telecommunications, Beverly comes to The Kelly Haven armed with a variety of skills and talents.  Beverly devotes her time and attention not only to assisting the children with their homework and reading on an individual level, she also prepares the daily snack, and generally gives each and every child the nurturing and attention they require. Beverly has succcessfully raised her two daughters, and is the grandmother of three delightful children.  Beverly is a loyal and devoted friend, who shares in my enthusiasm to make The Kelly Haven a huge success.  Beverly is a long-time Bayridge resident.
