Ms. Edwards has performed extensively in
New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. Her roles include Mimi, Violetta, Desdemona, Pamina, Marguerite, Donna Elvira, Micaela,
Rosalinda, Antonia, Luisa Miller, and many others. Companies with which she has appeared include The Amato Opera of New York,
Delaware Valley Opera, Amici Opera, Concert Operetta Theater, and Piccola Opera of Philadelphia.
Reviewing Ms. Edward's portrayal of Suor
Angelica in Philadelphia's Chestnut Hill Local, Michael Caruso said: "Soprano Eve Edwards was splendid in the title
role. Her singing struck the perfect balance between power and delicacy, beautifully communicating the conflicting
emotions of virtual hysteria at the thought of her little son dying without a mother's love and a tender longing to be with
him in heaven, her faith assuring her that he was waiting for her held safely in the arms of the Blessed Mother."
Also specializing in less frequently performed
operas, Ms. Edwards has performed the roles of Angèle Didier in Lehar's The Count
of Luxembourg, Ofelia in Thomas' Hamlet, and Medora in Il Corsaro. She covered
the roles of Leonora in Il Trovatore and Butterfly in Madama Butterfly with Boheme
Opera New Jersey, as well as performing these roles with them in outreach performances supporting their mainstage performances.
Additionally, Ms. Edwards appeared in the title role of the American concert premiere of Roland Fiore's opera, Linda, under
the baton of the composer.
Ms. Edwards is also a frequent concertizer, having sung in the world premiere of David
Himes' chamber orchestra version of Samuel Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915 in a performance described by the Reading Eagle
as "stunning." Other soloist performances have included Schubert's Mass No. 2 in G Major with the Greater Trenton Choral Society,
Brahms' Neue Liebeslieder Walzer with the Philadelphia Chamber Chorus, Bach's Cantata No. 106, Faure's and Durufle's Requiems,
the Mozart "Sparrow" Mass, and Handel's Messiah.
Ms. Edwards currently studies voice with
Harold Evans. She has also studied with Roland Fiore, and with Kathryn LaBouff at Cornell University, where she received her
Bachelor of Arts.
