Purchased in October 2003, the convertible needs a little bit of work,
but is driven on a regular basis. Longest drive to date: Trip to Gardner Massachusetts to visit the Pappalardos.
Went up route 146 thru Worcester, up 190 to 290 to route 2 West to Gardner. Then home again.

Work done so far:
- New catalytic converter
- New fuel filter
- New air filter
- Replace power window switches
- New rear license plate lights
- Replace ignition relay
- 04/17/05 Oil change at 95,200 miles
- 12/31/05 Drained radiator, and refilled Anti-freeze
-I received a new set of sun visors for Christmas(2004). They need to be installed once
I get the proper mounting hardware for them. The original visors are in the trunk. Mounting hardware has been found
in the glovebox.....
-Received a newer radio, and took out the older one that was in the dashboard. Need to
get a universal install kit, put in some new 5" speakers in the front footwells, and run some speaker cable to the rear deck.
I'm thinking of putting some 6"X9" speakers into some speaker boxes, and putting some quick connect plugs on the wire to make
them removable, as opposed to cutting up my rear deck to install them.
Fall 2006: After reading on the AlfaBB how another member received free re-prints of Alfa
Romeo manuals directly from Alfa Romeo's Archivo Storico, I went to the Alfa Romeo website and registered as a user with the
Archivo Storico. I sent an e-mail requesting information. A week later or so, I got an e-mail from Alfa Romeo
asking for my model and chassis number. I sent in the information. A couple of weeks later I received a package
from Milano, Italy. In it was a high quality reporduction of the owners manual and service manual. This came
to me all for free.
UPDATE: There is now an '86 Red Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate, two houses down on the same side of Ash Street.
UPDATE: Fall 2006. Spider 2 doors down has been sold!
