We went for a day trip to the Mystic Aquarium on the Friday of Maureen's February vacation.  It snowed a few inches the night before, but after we shoveled out the trip down to Connecticut was easy.
The Aquarium was celebrating "Caribbean Week" for school vacation.  They had a tropical fish on display, a parrot on display, and all kinds of warm weather things to help us forget that we were not on vacation on some sunny tropical island!
Mathieu had fun petting a crocodile and picking up a small crab.  He also had a blast moving the triple throttles on the mock up of the bridge of the PT-109.

Sea Lion Show

The sea lion jumped out of the tank, right in front of us and "walked"  to the other side of the tank.

Here's Mathieu checking out a model of the PT-109.

And finally, a cold family hamming it up for the camera.
P.S. The outdoor exibits are best viewed in the warmer weather.
