Eight families from Lynchburg, Virginia and surrounding communities,
who possessed a desire for fellowship, travel, and camping, organized the James River Sams Chapter of the Good Sam Club on
June 13, 1992.

This weblog is my online journal. You'll find my opinions on a variety of topics, as well as links to other things on
the web, that I find interesting. When the spirit moves me, I may also include longer essays.
Sometime during every campout, we have homemade ice cream! There are several folks who
make the cream, but Ruby and Nick are generally the "ringleaders", plus it is always fun to watch Dave try and lick
off all the cream on the freezer paddle...

Come Camp With Us...
Our first club campout this year will be March 16 - 18 at the RV Resort, Carolina Crossroads, in Roanoke
Rapids, NC. Being the first outing of the season, it is always lots of fun, and we are all looking forward to the
2012 camping season.
