A now defunct police department in Massachusetts,

The Massachusetts Capitol Police was responsible for protecting the Massachusetts State Capital Building.  In addition to the State House they also provided coverage for many other state buildings and sites on Beacon Hill, and throughout the city of Boston.

The MDC, Registry, Capitol Police all merged with the State Police in 1992.
