Dr. Georgia A. Martin

 

Dr. Georgia A. Martin is an ordained non-denominational, interfaith minister located in Silver Spring, Maryland.  She retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army Nurse Corps and from Civil Service with the Army JAG Corps.  In addition to being an ordained minister, Dr. Martin has a Ph.D. Degree in Adult Education and a Master's Degree as a Registered Nurse Clinical Specialist in Adult Mental Health from the University of Southern Mississippi; and a Jurist Doctorate Degree form the University of the District of Columbia.

 

She and her staff are authorized to administer the Holy Sacraments and perform Religious, Civil, and Spiritual Weddings, Baptisms, Funerals and Memorials.  In addition, they perform Vow Renewals, Commitment and Partnership Ceremonies, Baby Blessings & Namings, Rites of Healings and Rituals for Healthy Pregnancies, Divorce and Letting Go Ceremonies; Animal Blessings and Funerals, and House and Boat Blessings.  Her ministerial staff performs Ceremonias en Espanol o Ingles, La Fiesta Quinceañera, and other Latino Rites of Passage. 

 

Dr. Martin and her staff work with clients regardless of nationality, faith, or gender to insure that all ceremonies are memorable and filled with love, peace, and healing.  As traveling ministers, they travel to ceremony sites such as hotels, homes, churches, public parks and lakes, beaches, mountains, and boats throughout Maryland.
