Reverend Georgia A. Martin is an ordained non-denominational interfaith minister, as well as a licensed Mental Health Nurse Clinical Specialist and a licensed attorney.  Her office is located in Silver Spring, Maryland. 

Dr. Martin
works with diverse clients regardless of nationality, faith, gender, or marital status to insure that all ceremonies are memorable and filled with love, peace, and healing.  As a traveling minister, she travels to ceremony sites such as hotels, homes, churches, public parks and lakes, beaches, mountains, and boats nationwide.

 

As an ordained minister for over six years, she has performed hundreds of weddings and ceremonies, and is extremely experienced and well qualified to perform Religious, Civil, and Spiritual Weddings, Vow Renewals, Commitment and Partnership Ceremonies.  In addition she is authorized to administer the Holy Sacraments, Baptisms, Funerals and Memorials, Baby Blessings & Namings, Rites of Passage, Sage, House, Boat and Animal Blessings and Funerals.

 

As a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Specialist for over twenty-four years, she is experienced in conducting premarital counseling, and in performing Integrated Healing Ceremonies, Mother Blessing or “Blessing Way” Ceremonies, Life Transition Ceremonies, and Divorce, Letting Go, and Moving On Ceremonies. 

 

As a licensed attorney for over seventeen years, she assists couples in both Maryland and Mississippi with legal issues such as prenuptial agreements, name changes, contracts, wills and probate, powers of attorney, contracts, and real estate matters.

 

Dr. Martin is retired from the Army Nurse Corps and the Army JAG Corps.  She has a Ph.D. in Education and a M.S. Degree as a R.N. Clinical Specialist in Adult Mental Health from the Univ. of S. Miss. and a J.D. Degree form the Univ. of the D.C.
