Budget Ceremonies

Budget Ceremony: $175.00 for locations within 10 miles of officiant's office, and $200and up for other locations in the Maryland, DC Metropolitan, and Northern Virginia areas.

Fees include:

·         Providing wedding planning tips for inside, outside, and beach weddings.

·        Providing samples of ceremony and vows; however, the couple may choose to write their own vows.

·         Providing email and telephone consultation as needed.

·         Providing a short get-acquainted meeting during the week at officiant's office upon request.

·         Traveling to a ceremony site such as a hotel, home, church, public park or lake, beach, mountain, or boat.

·         Performing the ceremony

·         Signing all the copies of the official marriage licenses and mailing the official court copy to the appropriate court clerk.

Traditional Weddings & Ceremonies

Traditional Ceremony: $530 to $645 within the Maryland, DC Metropolitan, and Northern Virginia areas. 

Fees may include:

·         Conducting an initial “get acquainted” meeting with the couple,

·         Providing information on venue, county marriage licensing procedures, ceremony program format and content, photographers, bridal gowns, wedding cakes and music, etc.,

·         Preparing a wedding brochure, wedding workbook or worksheet that offers samples of readings and rituals,

·         Writing the wedding vows according to the couples wishes; however, the couple may choose to write their own vows,

·         Coordinating and directing the wedding rehearsal,

·         Traveling to wedding sites such as hotels, homes, churches, public parks and lakes, beaches, mountains, and boats,

·         Preparing the ceremony site with prayer and purification,

·         Preparing a bound copy of the ceremony along with a keepsake marriage certificate,

·         Signing the official marriage license and couple’s copy and mailing the official copy to the appropriate court

 

Simple Ceremony in Home or Garden $75.00 and up.  After hours: $85-$100.00.

 

The Simple Ceremony is a beautiful ceremony that has more flare than the Fast Ceremony; unity candles and a decorated arch are incorporated into the service.  This ceremony can be performed on very short notice by appointment only, 24 hours a day, in an officiant’s home or garden in Silver Spring or Annapolis, Maryland. Guests are strictly limited to eight (8) people inside and up to thirteen (13) outside.  The Simple Ceremony is for couples who wish to have a ceremony that is quick, inexpensive, and private, or where wedding stress may be an issue.  Depending on location, a Montgomery County or Anne Arundel County Marriage License is required.   

Fast Ceremony in Home or Garden $35.00 and up.  After hours: $45-$65.00.

 

The Fast Ceremony is a beautiful ceremony performed for the couple only.  It can be scheduled on very short notice, by appointment only, 24 hours a day, in an officiant’s home or garden in Silver Spring, Solomon or Annapolis, Maryland. This ceremony is an alternative to a Courthouse Ceremony.  Depending on location, a Montgomery County, Calvert County, or Anne Arundel County Marriage License is required.  

Vow Renewal Ceremony

 

There are many reasons for couples to choose to renew their wedding vows. Perhaps their first wedding was very simple without the presence of their family and friends, or maybe they have overcome difficulties in their marriage and wish a fresh start.  Many couples choose a special anniversary to celebrate many years of a happy marriage and to reaffirm their tremendous love that has deepened with the passing of years.  Wedding vow renewal ceremonies may be simple or elaborate.

Love knows no boundaries and I am happy to offer my services to all loving couples. Commitment Ceremonies are beautiful, meaningful affairs in which a couple may declare and affirm publicly their special love and their lasting commitment as partners in life and gather with their friends and family to celebrate their committed relationship.  I will prepare a beautiful certificate honoring the occasion.

 

Premarital Counseling Fees

 

Premarital counseling is not required to get married; however, it is available upon request.  As a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Specialist for over twenty-four years, Dr. Georgia Martin is highly experienced in conducting premarital counseling sessions.  The goal of the counseling program is to improve interpersonal relationships through communication and listening, conflict resolution, family origin, sexuality, and spiritual beliefs.   The fee for premarital counseling and marriage coaching is $110.00 per hour.
