Bryson reports: From left to right Jim Hurd getting haircut (Arkie) Tommy Johnson, standing, Alvin Bryson F.O. Lt. Charles Fairchild?,  and Lance Nelson (?)

My name is Doug Herier, and while assigned to "A" Btry, 1st/14th Arty., we were involved in "Operation Russell Beach", (Jan. 1969), and one of the LZ's we were assigned to was LZ South, where I took these two photo's.  I'm hoping that you, or someone in your group may recognize someone in the photo, and perhaps enjoy receiving it.  I was Chief of section on gun #3, adjacent to the command bunker, and have several more photo's, but none as up close and personal as the Lieutenant, cutting hair.     Welcome home !

Bending over on the right is Lance Nelson, RTO.

Do you know who we are? Jim Van Hoveln would like to know (so would I).  If you know who they are, please contact the webmaster at emu135th@verizon.net. Please use the caption San Juan Hill 69-70, photo page 7.
