Hi Buddies: It is hard to believe that more
than a year has passed since our last Reunion. That means we are less than two
years away from the 2008 Reunion. This note is to inform you that Robert (R.L.)
Harris has graciously stepped forward to be point man, and will be coordinating the 2008 Reunion for Charlie Co., 4th/3rd
(especially for the years 1967-1968). This marks the 40th anniversary of our
camp out (funny how those three day missions usually turned into 28 days). Dave
Curtin (XO of our web site) will have a Reunion page at: http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeoqeuo/.
R.L. has a great agenda planned, and Dave will keep the Reunion page updated with the latest information. No doubt there will be plenty of C-rations and camaraderie for everyone. We all owe R.L. our deepest gratitude,
and should volunteer (don’t wait to be drafted) to help him any way possible.
My own plan is to give more attention to locating our ‘lost’ brothers.
This is so important since our ranks were reduced by one on May 10, 2006, when Herbert Edes passed away. How sad it would have been if he had missed the 2003 and 2005 reunions. Those who have attended reunions
in the past (first one was in 1977), ‘re-up’ for the Spring of ’08 in Louisville, KY. If you have not attended, don’t miss this one (unless you are in ‘LBJ’ - Long Bingh Jail). R.L. will be sending the co-ordinates
for our mission, in the near future. Each of us should commit to locating at least one man (example:
Sgt. Charles Adkins, David Kitchen, James Young, William Frank, Noah Hartley, Theodore Feddor --- if you want more,
I can send them to you). Let’s all help make this the best Reunion so far.
Due to Roy
Hatchard’s continued efforts, Jose Alamo was located. It was great to talk
to him, and I am looking forward to seeing him at the Reunion. If you would like
to write or telephone him, the information is: Jose M. Alamo 520 St., Block 187, House 21 Carolina, PR 00985 Telephone #: (787) 762-9080 Thanks again R.L. for taking on this job, and thanks again to you Dave, for your continued support
and maintenance of our web site. God Bless you all and God Bless America.

However, I need to know your interest in:
A trip to Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino - those that have been there before
know it’s good food and good times; but you need to let me know.
A golf outing for Saturday morning if there are enough people wanting to do that; there
should be at least 4 people, so you need to let me know.
Depending on whether we go to the Racetrack/Casino on Friday night, we’ll simply
work on a cook-out/hamburger/hot-dog/pizza Social Hour on Saturday night.
I’m sending this preliminary notice/invitation out since some of you need to
