Mr. Waldman graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1977. He received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English from Marietta College in 1981. In 1985, Mr. Waldman graduated from the University of Bridgeport School of Law. While at Bridgeport, Mr. Waldman served as research assistant to Professor William Dunlop.

In 1985-1986, Mr. Waldman served as Judicial Law Clerk to the then-Presiding Judge of the Superior Court, Law Division, Atlantic County, the Honorable Gerald Weinstein. Mr. Waldman was an associate at the law firm of Ford and Flower from 1986 through 1995. He established his own practice of law in February of 1996.

 

 

Mr. Waldman is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the Atlantic County Bar Association,  a member of the New Jersey State Municipal Prosecutors Association and was the author of the N.J.S.M.P.A.'s By-laws.

Jeff is a Past-President of the Atlantic County Bar Association and was a Trustee of the Bar Association since 1991. He is founder of the Mentor Program and the Personal Injury Valuation Panel Program. He is past chair of the Civil Practice Committee, the Law Division Early Settlement Panel Committee, the Law Day Show Committee and the 1995 By-law Revisions Committee. He also authored comprehensive revisions to the Bar Association By-laws and represented Atlantic County in the New Jersey State Bar Association's Young Lawyers' Section. Jeff currently serves as a mentor on the New Jersey State Bar Association's Ethics Diversionary Program.

Mr. Waldman's field of expertise includes general litigation, personal injury, employment discrimination and sexual harassment litigation, real estate, zoning and planning, wills and estates, commercial and business transactions and representation of condominium and homeowner associations. Also an experienced mediator, Jeff is certified as a member of the court-annexed mediation program, the foreclosure mediation program and an arbitrator for the court-annexed arbitration program.

 

In the field of employment law, Jeff provides a variety of services;  preparation of employee handbooks and workplace discrimination & anti-harassment policies, workplace discrimination & anti-harassment investigation and litigation of workplace discrimination & harassment issues.

 

He is a member of the Atlantic County Board of Taxation, Solicitor for the Joint Zoning/Planning Board of Buena Vista Township, Chief Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Somers Point, Chief Municipal Prosecutor for Mullica Township,  former Chief Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Northfield, former First Assistant Prosecutor for the City of Atlantic City, former Chief Municipal Prosecutor for Galloway Township and former Public Defender for Buena Vista Township.
