My best guardia assignment was a two week stint at the
Kino Clinic at Lo de Marcos, a small village on the Pacific coast. We worked four hour shifts each day at the clinic and the
rest of the day was ours to enjoy on the beach. Perhaps the only downside was having to share our bathroom with a foot-long
iguana !
The clinic served a peso poor local village community that would repay their medical providers with a basket of mangos or fresh eggs.
Now tell me this doesn't beat the heck out of any clinical rotation back on South Orange
Avenue at Newark, NJ.
