This Advent stole speaks of the traditional movement through the season with each week representing
one of these themes--hope, peace, joy and love. The abstract design emphasizes the love at Christ's birth (the bage in the
manger silhouette) and the Chi Rho monogram on the chest from the first two letters of the Greek word Christ.
The stole front is crafted from a combination of cottons.
The symbols are appliqued and finished with machine embroidery. The words are hand painted with textile
paint and enhanced. It is lined with the same fabric as the front top. Stole is available in two
lengths as listed below. It measures 4 7/8" wide at the hem and tapers to 2 3/4" at the neck.

This Advent stole speaks of our waiting and preparation for the Prince of peace with the peace
symbols of dove and laurel branch. The beautiful batiked stripes are a reminder of the journey we travel through during this
season.
The stole front is crafted from a combination of cottons. The dove is appliqued
and finished with machine embroidery. The laurel branches are hand painted with textile paint and enhanced with varigated
thread stitching. It is lined with the same fabric as the front hem. Stole is 50 3/4" long measuring
from back of neck to the bottom of the hem on one side. It measures 4 7/8" wide at the hem and tapers
to 2 3/4" at the neck.

Symbolic of the season on this stole we see Mary and Joseph and the donkey on their way to Bethlehem.
This symbolizes the hope of what is ahead in the journey. The silhouette is in gold to represent the pureness of
this special and long awaited event. The anchor cross is a symbol of the hope that Christ is our lifesaver and
additionally reminds us that it is He that navigates the way.The tone on tone rose fabric in the lower portion of the stole
is a subtle reference to Mary.
The stole front is crafted from a combination of purple cottons.
The cross is appliqued and finished with machine embroidery. The silhouette is handpainted with
textile paint. It is lined with the same fabric as the front hem. Stole is 49" long measuring
from back of neck to the bottom of the hem on one side. It measures 4 1/42" wide at the hem and
tapers to 2 3/4" at the neck.

Advent is the season of hope where we wait with anticipation for
Christ the King. The candle light on this stole reminds us that Jesus is the light of the word brought
to us in darkness so that we may have new life. The lovely batik background causes us to think
of the journey we travel through during this season. The peace dove on the chest is a fitting compliment to the design.
The stole front is crafted from
a cotton blend and cotton batik. It is lined with the same solid fabric as the top front and is interfaced for
added body. Stole is 48 1/2" long measuring from back of neck to the bottom of the hem. It
measures 4 7/8" wide at the hem and tapers to 2 3/4" at the neck.

The many shades of blue in this Advent stole help us think of the
time, steps, and movement we are called to go through during this season of preparation. The Greek letters Alpha (first) and
Omega (last) from Rev. 1:8 and 22:13, symbolize Jesus as the Christ who has come and will come again.

This blue peace stole has a border of fabric with a swirling design that reminds us of the mystery
of Christ and the anticipated excitment we have as we await His birth. The stole is embellisehd with a peace dove and the phrase
"Peace unto you. Shalom, salaam, forever." The cross is silver and edged in gold variegated threads--precious metal colors
to remind us of how precious this symbol is.
