The colors on this stole are that of peace and healing...calm purples, magenta and a bit of green. The
dove is a traditional symbol for peace. The main fabric has been hand dyed and the result is a movement and flow of colors
that translate into a very positive energy.
The stole
front is crafted from a soft pima cotton. The symbols are appliqued and finished with machine embroidery.
It is lined with the a solid purple cotton broadcloth and is interfaced for added body.Stole is 50" long measuring from back of neck to the bottom of the hem on one side. It
measures 4 1/2" wide at the hem and tapers to 2 3/4" at the neck.

This stole is multifunctional. The colors are that of peace and healing. The straight lines signify
the hurt that requires healing. The spirals remind us of the process that healing requires. The healing hand has been used
historically in many cultures. Interstingly it is know as "hamesh" which is the Jewish name for the Hand of Miriam and is
reference to the sister of Moses and Aaron. And last but not least the circles are symbolic of wholeness.

The free spirited tie dye fabric of this stole will certainly appeal to the young and young at heart. The
chest is embellished with the dove of peace carrying an olive branch.

The border of this unique stole is embellished with a jug overspilling with oil. Oil was used
in the Old Testament as a sign of consecration to the Lord. It was symbolic of God's call and empowerment of persons for specific
tasks. In a New Testament context, oil represents the Holy Spirit Who indwells believers and seals them in Christ. Additionally
the stole is accented with olive branches as a reference to peace and an honor to the olive tree a great producer of oil.
