The Jesse Tree is named from Isaiah 11:1: "A shoot will spring forth from the stump of Jesse, and a branch
out of his roots." It is a vehicle to tell the Story of God in the Old Testament, and to connect the Advent Season with
the faithfulness of God across 4,000 years of history. This stole displays the Stars of Abraham, Sarah's tent of hospitality,
a bundle of sticks for Isaac, Rebekah's water jar, the coat of many colors worn by Joseph, a burning bush, Miriam's tambourine,
a trumpet for Gideon, grain for Ruth, and David's lyre.
The stole front and back are made of a royal purple linen like cotton blend that has a subtle stripe woven
into it. The symbols are machine appliqued and finished with machine embroidery. The stars are handpainted and/or
stitched with free motion stitching. The stole measures 49" and is 4 1/2" wide tapering to 2 1/4" at the neck.

The Noah's Ark stole will touch people of all ages. God's call to Noah reminds us of the call the
gospel gives to poor sinners. Christ is an ark, in whom alone we can be safe. God promised to curse the earth

The stole front is made of cotton and cotton blend fabrics. Most of the details are appliqued
and finished with machine embroidery. Additional details are handpainted with textile paint or refined with free motion
quilting. Fur on the lions mane, an embroidery floss tail on the elephant and scraggly yarn hair on the camels adds
to the delight of the images. The back of the stole is a light blue cotton blend and it is interfaced with a piece of
flannel to give the stole stability yet allow it to easily move. It measures 51 1/2" long by 4 1/2" wide at
the hem tapering to 2 1/2" at the neck.

The free spirited tie dye fabric of this stole will certainly appeal to the young and young at heart. The
chest is embellished with the dove of peace carrying an olive branch.

cotton blend. The symbols are appliqued and finished with machine embroidery. The hem is bordered with a beautiful
tasseled fringe. It is lined with the same cotton fabric as the front and is interfaced for added body.
Stole is 50" long measuring from back of neck to the bottom of the hem on one side. It
measures 4 1/2" wide at the hem and tapers to 2 3/4" at the neck.
