The royal blue base color of this stole symbolizes the night sky, the anticipation of the announcement of
the impending King's coming, or the waters of Gen. 1-the beginning of a new creation. The shepherd's crook cross is a
reminder of "I am the good shepherd" from John 10:14. The accent colors of red, purple, gold and turquoise remind us of the
joy we experience during the Advent season.
The stole front is crafted from the softest purple cotton. The symbols
are appliqued and finished with machine embroidery. It is lined with the same cotton fabric as the front and is
interfaced for added body.Stole is 49" long measuring from back of neck to the bottom of the hem on
one side. It measures 4 1/2" wide at the hem and tapers to 2 3/4" at the neck.

Brillant red fabric embellished with a gold cross,
gold handpainted trefoils and elegant gold braid makes for a great combination on this stole. The three points on the
ends of the cross arms and on the trefoils a typical symbols of the Trinity. A great ordination or installation stole!

This stole is made out of a wonderfully fresh looking green and white batik. The fabric pattern
of flowers and leaves on vines speaks to growth during Ordinary Time.
