This stole celebrates music! Vibrant, colorful and full of joy the music notes surround the hand
lettered scripture from the Psalms: "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord." The music notes are created from a batik fabric and
the colorations vary with each stole but all stoles have music notes in the blue, purple, magenta color family.
The stole front is crafted from a pure white cotton fabric. The symbols are appliqued
and finished with machine embroidery. The lettering is handpainted with textile paint. It is lined with the
same fabric as the front and is interfaced for added body. Stole is 49" long measuring from
back of neck to the bottom of the hem on one side. It measures 4 1/2" wide at the hem and
tapers to 2 3/4" at the neck.

This kelly green stole was designed with Psalm 150:3 in mind..."Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet..."
These trumpets seem to be exploding with the joy of music.

with machine embroidery. The swirling lines are handpainted with textile paint. Additionally small bits of decorative
yarns have been sewn on in a splashed pattern. It is lined with the same fabric as the front. Stole is 51" long measuring
from back of neck to the bottom of the hem on one side. It measures 4 1/2" wide at the hem
and tapers to 2 1/4" at the neck.

The Jesse Tree is named from Isaiah 11:1: "A shoot will spring forth from the stump of Jesse, and a branch
out of his roots." It is a vehicle to tell the Story of God in the Old Testament, and to connect the Advent Season with
the faithfulness of God across 4,000 years of history. This stole displays the Stars of Abraham, Sarah's tent of hospitality,
a bundle of sticks for Isaac, Rebekah's water jar, the coat of many colors worn by Joseph, a burning bush, Miriam's tambourine,
a trumpet for Gideon, grain for Ruth, and David's lyre. This is not specifically a "music" stole but you certainly can't ignore
that component of it!
The stole front and back are made of a royal purple linen like cotton blend that has a subtle stripe woven
into it. The symbols are machine appliqued and finished with machine embroidery. The stars are handpainted and/or
stitched with free motion stitching. The stole measures 49" and is 4 1/2" wide tapering to 2 1/4" at the neck.
