| Maurice E. Weintraub Architect is an architecture, planning and design firm, located in the heart of Philadelphias Main Line, dedicated to providing the high quality architectural services. While being creative and innovative, the firms designs reflect the needs and the budget requirements of the clients. The firms principal, Maurice Weintraub, a native Philadelphian, established the firm in 1992 following 10 years of project management and design experience with Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates. Maurice E. Weintraub Architect offers a complete range of architectural services from planning and design through construction observation. Maurice Weintraub is a licensed architect in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware and has been a member of the American Institute of Architects since 1986. Maurice Weintraub works closely with his clients, personally overseeing each project. His 25 years of project management experience help to insure his projects are completed on time and within budget. Critical to the success of any project is communication. The firm strives to establish an effective working relationship between the client, the architect and the contractor. In the best interest of his clients Maurice Weintraub works to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and effective communication where all parties work together towards a common goal. Using the computer as a tool the firm creates three dimensional models of each project. Renderings and animations generated from these models help clients see their vision greatly reducing the anxiety over what to expect. In addition to communicating design ideas to clients they serve as a valuable design tool through the design process. The firms extensive architectural library is another valuable asset serving as an important resource through the design and building process. A collection of over one thousand current and out of print books, covers a broad range of topics including architecture, art, interior design, design, decorative arts, landscape architecture, site planning, building construction, building materials, construction detailing, construction management and building specifications. Maurice Weintraub received his undergraduate degree in 1980 at Pennsylvania State University and received his Master of Architecture in 1982 from the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his formal education, he began working at the internationally known firm of Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. During his 10 year apprenticeship he worked closely with both partners, Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown. His involvement ranged from planning and design to construction administration. He worked on many projects ranging in scale from houses to museums to decorative objects. As a representative of the firm he traveled to the Far East marketing their services. His drawings for Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates have been published in numerous magazines and have been in exhibitions in such places as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia and the National Gallery in London. He became an Associate at the firm in 1991. While working at Venturi Scott Brown and Associates, Maurice Weintraub carried out several independent projects. The projects ranged from residential additions and interior renovations to commercial interiors. The Silver Addition in Wyckoff, NJ, received an Honorable Mention in Metropolitan Home Magazine's "Home of the Year" competition. This independent work eventually lead to the development of his own firm. As the firms principal, Maurice Weintraub is dedicated to serving his clients,
