Guillermo José Beytagh-Maldonado was born in San
Juan, Puerto
Rico
and raised in San Juan, New
York City and Luquillo Beach. He is the second child of Dr. Luz Angeles Maldonado of Carolina, Puerto Rico and the late William Joseph Beytagh, Jr. of Savannah, Georgia. His sister is Eva Cunneen
Beytagh of Luquillo, Puerto Rico & San Antonio, Texas.
Mr. Beytagh-Maldonado is frequently sought-out
for consultation and presentations by national and local organizations because of his command of nonprofit organizational
subjects, Latino community issues and organizing.
Guillermo attended
University High School (Escuela Superior de la Universidad de Puerto Rico) and pursued his higher education at
Livingston College, Rutgers University where he majored in Community Development as well as Puerto Rican
Studies. He then attended Cornell University Graduate School of Planning.
Guillo, as he is commonly
known, lives in Luquillo, Puerto Rico & Highland Park, New
Jersey.
