When you are ready to order, click the PAYPAL button under the Back and Side set  you want. The price for that part is always showing, and if you want to continue to add other parts to your order remember to keep a running total.
 
If you want something you don't see, such as a curly maple back without the matching sides ($120.00) or even a set of curly maple sides without the matching back ($85.00) please get in touch, since these are special orders. These parts are available in other figures and species as well as curly maple; the price will reflect the cost of the veneer as well as any additional working difficulty.
 
 

This is a typical set of sides, single cutaway.

Do they grow ebony in Italy? This back, and the matching single-cutaway side set, are covered with wide, one-piece veneer on both faces, inside and out, so anyone peeking through the f-holes will see it. Fool your friends!

Something else!  This is black-dyed Lacewood - the color goes all the way through the veneer - and it is amazing looking stuff!  I don't think I've ever said of a veneer (right out loud, anyway - my photography skills still have a way to go) that the pictures don't do it justice, but I'll say it here.
 
This veneer has a rough-lookiing surface, about what you'd expect from so much radical figure, but the surface levels up nicely with sandpaper - you MUST use firm flexible sanding blocks to flatten Lacewood.

Deep, very uniform chocolate color, with large pores and strong texture. Wenge is available as lumber, so a consistent theme is very feasible, with, for instance, a wenge tailpiece and pickguard, and even the neck.
