Welcome to Open Door Nursery!

A leaning center for young children

Founded in 1971, Open Door Nursery is a non-profit, non-denominational, inter-racial and non-political preschool program sponsored by the First United Presbyterian Church of Houston. Our programs run from September through May.

PROGRAMS OFFERED

Three Year Old Program

The child must be three years old by January 31st of the upcoming year to enroll for the school year. The sessions are two hours long, two days per week.

Four Year Old Program

The child must be four years old by January 31^st of the upcoming year to enroll for the school year. The sessions are two and one half hours long, three days per week.

Transitional Program

This class is offered to children who have completed the Four Year Old Program, or a comparable program at another preschool. The sessions are two and one half hours long, three days per week.
