Fundamentals of Free Lungeing is an excellent little book that clearly discribes and illustrates through handy line diagrams what you need to know
to work in a round pen. Filled with practical information, and not with hype, this book is a must for both those of
a more natural slant and those of a more traditional slant.
True Horsemanship Through Feel This is quite a book! This is the "practical guide" of natural horsemanship as told by Bill Dorrance. He is the top
teir of the teaching line that has spawned most of the Natural Horsemanship Movement. Here he outlines the groundwork in a
well illustrated, step by step way, and provides a good framework for the physical aspects of natural horsemanship. Excellent,
though quite long so be sure to read carefully.
The Birdie Book This is an interesting and unique work on what the author calles "The Inner Landscape" of the horse and rider. She
has really given lots of thought to the horses attention, how to get it, why you need it, and what it can do for you. As the
root of training, the horse's attention is the core foundation of the work. Well presented, good organization, though readers
might be disapointed at a lack of extensive how-to information. Very nice addition to the field.
