"HOLINESS MEDLEY" with "Holy, Holy, Holy" and "When
I Look into Your Holiness" (Spring, 2006)
This level 3 (4- 5 octave) arrangement begins with a majestic setting of "Holy, Holy Holy" and
then transitions into a very worshipful setting of Cathy and Wayne Perin's wonderful worship chorus, "When I
Look into Your Holiness." Flexibility is provided in the arrangement with optional repeats and endings
so that each of the titles within the arrangement may be effectively performed separately.
"FIRM FOUNDATION" with "How Firm A Foundation" (Summer, 2006)
This level 3 ( 3-5 octave) arrangement is very exciting and rhythmic. It begins with a fanfareish
intro that leads into the exciting upbeat praise chorus, "Firm Foundation."
The contemporary rhythm of a dotted eighth note followed by a sixteenth note tied to an eighth note and another eighth note
permeates this arrangement. In fact when the hymn tune is introduced it is contemporized with this same rhythmic feel.
The arrangement includes exercises to help ringers learn to feel this rhythm.
"GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME" (Spring, 2007)
This level 4 (4-5 octave) arrangement of Don Moen's and Paul Overstreet's wonderful contemporary praise
song is upbeat and keeps everyone busy and challenged.
"FAIREST LORD JESUS" (Summer of 2007)
This level 2- (2-3 octave) arrangement is accessible for most choirs. It was written for less
experienced ringers as a step up piece (from level 1 to level 2-). While quarter notes and half notes make up
the majority of the piece, dotted quarter notes followed by eighth notes are used in the introduction and the ending of the
arrangement. There are several eighth note runs and arpeggios which add interest and provide growing opportunities for
the less experienced ringer without overwhelming him. Shakes and mart. lifts add variety and spice to the arrangement.
"FUM, FUM, FUM" (Fall, 2007)
This 5 octave arrangement is all malleted on the table. It even uses rolls occasionally. It is in
2/2 with an occasional 3/2 measure thrown in. Lots of fun!
