Other Services We Provide

  • NTN™ Reconditioning Service
The Shine Shop can restore your cookware to like-new condition - one pan or a full set! The same process would be used as for our NTN™ Revere Ware (you can also expect similar results). This type of order begins when you contact us with the brand of cookware involved, the types, sizes and number of pieces to be reconditioned. We'll get back to you within 24 hours with an preliminary cost. If agreeable, you ship the cookware to our shop, where we will go over each piece to ensure that no unanticipated problems exist, and then email you a final cost for the work. Once you authorize the work, we tag your cookware and schedule it for production. When the work is completed, we'll send you a full series of photos of each piece, together with an invoice for the work. Review the results and if satisfied, make payment. Upon receipt of payment, we ship your reconditioned cookware back to you (by Insured Priority Mail or UPS). Door to door, it usually takes less than three weeks.

Pricing for NTN™ reconditioning obviously depends on the type, size, and number of pieces you want done. Typical per piece costs range from $20.00 - $45.00. Orders of two or more pieces qualify for substantial discounts.

  • Repairs
Fortunately, Revere cookware has the durability to withstand almost anything the kitchen can dish out. But.....things happen. The Shine Shop, has the experience and equipment (we designed and built what we couldn't buy) to fix the problem permanently.

  • Replacement parts
The Shine Shop can supply handles, knobs, and hardware for most of the Revere products made before 1990. If you are replacing parts yourself, you may have problems with the handle screws or lid knobs - It's not unusual to break off screws or twist off the lid stud. Keep in mind that Revere terminated the official spare parts program in 1989 (15+ years ago), and no parts stock remains at the Corning/Revere dealers. Even the hardware (particularly the handle fastenings) is impossible to buy - it wasn't made to standard commercial sizes, and much of what you might find at the hardware or industrial supply store won't fit! The Shine Shop now makes our own hardware, many of the bakelite (black plastic) handles, and some of the Pressure Cooker gaskets. Orders for Bakelite parts are filled with our NTN Reconditioned parts.

  • Some Frequently Requested Parts
  • Lid Knob (one size fits all lids)
  • Replacement bakelite handles for Skillets, Sauce Pans, Sauce Pots, Dutch Ovens, Coffee Makers
  • Glass Percolator tops (original style) or (universal style with adapter)
  • Hardware (YES - we have the threaded rivets and SS screw/washer sets you can't seem to find anywhere else)
  • Questions & Information
