We believe in one God. All things have been created by God, and nothing exists outside of God’s creation and power.

 

We believe in Jesus as the Christ, the Anointed One. He is the Word made flesh, God in bodily form. Jesus is both fully human and fully God. By His life, death, resurrection and ascension, He has paid the price for us to enter into the kingdom of God.

 

We believe in the God’s Holy Spirit as the power of God that dwells within us.  It is by the Holy Spirit that we hear God’s voice and seek to do His will.

 

We believe that we are called to live the teachings of Jesus in our daily lives. We are to spread the good news of God’s redemption and reconciliation through our actions as well as our words.

 

We believe that all who confess Jesus as their Lord are the body of Christ. We are each given gifts by the Spirit to live out the kingdom of God in the world around us. Since we have various gifts, we believe that we are to live in close community with one another. It is our calling to bring all who are hurting, all who are oppressed, all who are poor, all who would come into the Community of Faith.
