Currently, there are no paid positions available. However, we are always recuiting individuals who are currently certified
as an Emergency Responder, First Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic or Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse. Volunteer
positions are always open. We hire from within before seeking applicants from outside the Association.
Prerequisites for employment are:
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (Class C)
- Current Pennsylvania Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician (or higher)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support provider
- Current Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations Levels
- Emergency Vehicle Operator Course
- National Incident Management Systems - NIMS (IS-700) Course.
- One year of pre-hospital experience in an EMS system of equal or higher volume with an emphasis on emergency service.
- Clean driving and criminal history.
