The Maryland Institute is a multi-specialty mental health practice with offices located in College Park and Silver Spring, Maryland. The Institute is staffed by licensed psychologists, social workers, and counselors with expertise in the following clinical areas:

Evaluation and treatment for trauma-related disorders, particularly sexual trauma to children, adolescents, and adults; 
 
Evaluation and treatment for mood and anxiety disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder; 
 
Evaluation of learning disabilities, including reading and attentional disorders (ADD/ADHD);
 
Evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents;
Evaluation and treatment of sexual disorders, including sexual addiction;
 
Psychological testing/evaluation for diagnostic purposes, educational assessment and placement, legal and court proceedings;
 
Consultation with physicians, including internists, OBGYN's, pediatricians, family practitioners, neurologists, and psychiatrists;
