It is important that we nurture the faith of all of our parish children. Students in grades PreK-8 who are not receiving
a Catholic school education at Transfiguration Academy should be receiving religious education instruction and sacramental
preparation through St. John's Religious Education program.
Additionally, children and adults who wish to learn more about the Catholic faith and receive the Sacraments of Initiation
can enroll in our RCIA classes.
New and re-registrations are now being taken for the 2008-2009 year. The office is open in the summer
from 7am to 3pm during the week. New students must bring a copy of their baptismal record.
***** Preparation for the Sacraments of First Penance and First Holy Communion is a two year program.
Our comprehensive program teaches the fundamental truths of the Catholic faith. Trained, volunteer catechists share
their faith with the students, leading them to the realization that Catholic Christian living is their response
to God's love.
