Important News About Magruder Courier Distribution! 

 

Dear Magruder Families,

 

Printing and distributing a monthly newsletter can be costly.  In an effort to save dollars and resources, the Magruder High School PTSA has been encouraging families to read the PTSA newsletter, the Courier, online instead of receiving printed copies.  We are pleased to report that so far, approximately 320 families (representing nearly 400 students) have signed up for our Courier "no paper" list. 

 

However, our PTSA budget is tight, and we need to cut costs even more.  We cannot stop printing the Courier, because not every family has easy access to the Internet.  To ensure that all Magruder families receive the important information the Courier provides, we have decided to produce the newsletter every other month instead of every month.  This means that for the remainder of this school year, the Courier will be published (on paper and online) in February, April, and June.  We will also aim to make the newsletter shorter.
 
If you have easy Internet access and have not yet joined the "no paper" list, please do so.  Your efforts will help provide the funds needed for special programs, events, and other PTSA initiatives that support our Magruder community.

 

To sign up for the “no paper” list, please e-mail Angela Tilley Angela.tilley86@yahoo.com and:

• Type "MHS - No paper list" in the subject line. 
• In the body of the message, include the name(s) of your Magruder HS student(s), along with your full address and zip code.
• Because we announce the availability of the online Courier via e-mail, please also let Angela know if you subscribe to MHS News or MHS PTSA News.  If you do not currently subscribe, we can either sign you up for the list(s) of your choice, or add you to a separate "no paper" e-mail list.
