Matt started swimming for Hallowell and Rockville Montgomery Swim Club (RMSC) when he was 12 years old. He swam in divisions A through C.  Matt swam for Sherwood High School for 4 years and was the captain in his senior year.  He graduated in 2008 from Salisbury University with a major in marketing and swam there for 4 years and was team captain senior year.  Matt was one of the first recipients of the Sara E. Auer Memorial scholarship in 2004.  Before joining Tanterra as the Assistant Coach, Matt was the Assistant Coach at Hallowell for 3 years.  This is his third year at Tanterra and he is looking forward to working with everyone again!
