About Stephanie Forlenza:

Stephanie swam for the Tanterra Tarpons for the past 10 years.   At age 7, she joined the Tanterra Tarpon Pre-Team and immediately fell in love with the sport of swimming.   At age 8, she began swimming in the Stroke and Turn program.  By age 9, Stephanie had joined the Rockville Montgomery Swim Club (RMSC) and began to train competitively on a year-round basis.  Shortly after joining the program, she entered the RMSC National Training Group.  She was a select member of the RMSC Sectional Team and qualified for Nationals her senior year. Currently Stephanie is attending University of North Carolina - Wilmington where she is majoring in Pre-Med while still participating as an active member of the Division 1A swim team at UNCW.

Stephanie has a passion for teaching kids how to swim competitively. She helped coach the Tarpon Pre-Team for 5 years and was an assistant coach for the past 3 summers for the Tarpons. This past winter she has learned new techniques and training ideas that she hopes to bring to the team.

Stephanie enjoys working with the Tarpon families and is looking forward to the upcoming summer season.
