Michael swam on the Tanterra Swim and Dive team since 2001. While swimming for the team, Michael was an assistant swim coach the past two summers and was a pre-team assistant coach the previous four summers.   In 2006, Michael was recipient of Tanterra’s Mack Hester Memorial Award for leadership, sportsmanship, commitment and attitude.  Michael also swam with the Rockville Montgomery Swim Club (RMSC) year round since 2002 at both the Martin Luther King pool and the Olney Indoor pool. In high school, Michael lettered for the Sherwood swim team all four years, and was named boy’s captain both his junior and senior year. Michael is currently attending Towson University and was a walk-on on the men’s swimming team his freshman year (2008-2009 season).  He has also worked as a lifeguard at local pools the past two summers. Michael looks forward to working and swimming with the Tanterra team again this year!
