Derek M. LaBoo was inducted into Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. on October 28th, 2000 at the University of Maryland – College Park (Kappa Chapter). In 2002, Derek served as the Kappa Chapter Fraternity Director of Ministry. It was during the time at Kappa Chapter that Derek gained valuable leadership training and experience. In 2003, Derek graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Since graduation, Derek has served as the Baltimore/Washington Alumni Chapter President, Greater Baltimore Chapter President, and is the current Bowie State University Fraternity Senior Advisor. In 2005, Derek received the Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. Member of the Year award.

Derek currently serves as the Youth Director at New Elizabeth Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. As he continues to serve in Alpha Nu Omega, Derek is passionate for men of God to understand their purpose and authority through a firm stance in the Word of God.
