VanBrakle, Ph.D Regional Director of Ministry & Administration (RDMA) Southern Florida Region doctorcourtney@msn.com Courtney was inducted into Beta Chapter at Towson University in the Spring of 1996. In her interview, she stated that she was going to transfer the following semester but was interested in starting a chapter at the University of MD Eastern Shore. In the Fall of 1997, she oriented five ladies which established the Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. She then graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Services in December 1998. Following graduation, she returned back home to Washington, DC and began working in the Baltimore/Washington Alumni Chapter as the fund raising chair. In the Summer of 2000, she decided to go to Florida to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy at Nova Southeastern University where she obtained a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2002 and 2003, respectively. She decided to stay in Florida and is currently working as a Physical Therapist in a Level II Trauma Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. In 2005, she was instrumental in assisting in the organization's expansion to Florida Atlantic University, now Omicron Chapter, and was appointed to be the Regional Director of Ministry and Administration of South Florida. She is currently the Omicron Sorority Advisor and a member of the Expansion team with the focus for Florida. From the beginning, Courtney has always thought that the concept of a Christian alternative was a good idea and has since made it her objective to take and share this good idea with her wherever she goes. |
