D. Jones National Vice President of Expansion nekiajones@hotmail.com In 1992, Nekia enrolled in Morgan State University pursuing a degree in Computer Science. While at MSU, she met and bonded with several members of Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. It was because of those covenant relationships, that she developed a great love for the ministry of ANQ and become a member in the fall of 1994. Nekia immediately became known as a leader, not only within ANQ, but also on the campus of Morgan State University. During her first year in ANQ she held the positions of chapter Vice-President and Director of Ministry. Shortly after, she was elected as the chapter President. After leaving Morgan State University, Nekia continued to grow as a leader in Alpha Nu Omega. She was elected as the Director of Ministry for the Baltimore/ Alumni chapter, where she facilitated the organizations first mentorship program at Halstead Academy. It was also during this time that Nekia became very instrumental in the chartering of several chapters within the organization. Nekia has also held the position of Regional Director of Membership Affairs for the Three Rivers Region and the Greater Baltimore Region. In the summer of 2002, Nekia was appointed to the position of National Treasurer for the organization. Currently, Nekia has the distinct honor of being a Senior Advisor for Theta Chapter Sorority. As an ordained Elder, Nekia currently serves under the divine leadership of Bishop Ralph L. Dennis and Lady Deborah Dennis of Kingdom Worship Center in Towson, Maryland. It is because of her Evangelistic heart, that God has allowed her to carry the message of ANQ through expanding its territory in the earth. It is Nekia's sincere desires to see the fullness of God operating in the lives of every believer. |
