Reverend Davis was born 1969 in NJ.  His parents later moved to Scranton PA where he lived for most of his childhood.  After high school he worked in a factory for 2 years and decided a change was needed.  Rev. Matt joined the Navy 1990 and served 4 years as a shipboard firefighter before receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1994.  While serving his country he met his wife Anita in 1991 and they have been together ever since celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary this past May.   They have 2 children and reside in Rhode Island. 

Having a desire to serve the Lord in the ministry, but becoming very disheartened at the direction of many churches today, he searched for a church that still believed in God’s most Holy Word.  By the grace of God he found that church several years ago, and his training began.  Rev. Matt was ordained a Deacon in 2006 and Ordained a Priest 2008.
