Are you sure of your salvation?

Did you know that no matter how good you are, or how many good deeds you perform, this is not good enough to get you into heaven? 

We are told to give an account why it is we believe what we do.

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. 1Timothy 1:15

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 1 John 5:11

For by grace are ye savesthrough faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph. 2: 8-9

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name fo the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the son of God. 1 John 5:13
