THE COURTYARD. WE'RE ON THE LEFT!
You need to contact the studio between 10am and 4pm the day of class to let us know you are coming
in, and get confirmation! All contact will be with Jamie, the owner.
The address of the mall is 1727 E. Moyamensing Ave., Phila., PA, 19148 for your GPS.
There is a big white sign that says Pennsport Mall, with a parking lot. You'll see Prudential Savings Bank
on the wall of the outside of the courtyard. Park in the lot (it's free), and go inside the courtyard. We are the 5th storefront
on the left.
Directions- We have a free parking lot!
From 95: Take the Columbus Blvd./ Washington Ave. Exit, (There will be clear signs at
the end of the ramp.) Washington is a few blocks down. On Washington, go down to Moyamensing Ave. (Maybe 2 blocks. It comes
in between 2nd and 3rd Sts.) and make a left. You will need to veer to the right a few blocks down, when it looks
like a dead end. Keep going though! We are about 6 blocks down on the left. If you hit Snyder Ave., you've
gone too far. If you are coming South on Columbus Blvd. from inside the city, do the same when you get to Washington.
From 76: Take the Passyunk Ave./ Oregon Ave. exit, staying in the middle lane. You can take Oregon
Ave. by staying straight. Follow Oregon all the way down to 9th St., 7th St., or whatever odd numbered street by there,
as long as you can make a left. Take that street to Snyder Ave. about 6 blocks. When you are coming north towards Snyder,
do not be tempted to take Moyamensing when you see it. It is going the wrong way at that point! Go to Snyder first!!! Make
a right onto Snyder, and take it til you get to 4th street. You'll see a wide open street on the left, right past the light.
That's Moyamensing Ave. Make the left, and go 2 and a half blocks. You'll see the big white Pennsport Mall sign on the right,
and you can pull into the parking lot.
From the Walt Whitman Bridge: Take the "7th St." Exit, right past the tolls on the right hand
side. At the end of the ramp, make a left. That's 7th St. Take 7th St. to Snyder Ave., about 9 (short) blocks. You'll
pass Moyamensing Ave. on the way to Snyder, but it goes in the WRONG direction at that point, so don't be tempted! At Snyder,
make a right and go 3 blocks. You'll see Moyamensing Ave. only on the left, right past 4th St.. Make the left, and we're 2
1/2 blocks up on the right.
If you are already in South Philly, simply get yourself between 3rd and 4th Sts., on Snyder Ave.,
and turn up Moyamensing there, and we're 2 1/2 blocks up on the right.
You can also put in your address here, on our Mapquest form. Just fill this form out, and click Get Directions! The
destination is already filled out for you. Any questions about the directions you get can be emailed to Jamie. If it
prompts you to take Tasker St., then know that it's not a clearly posted street sign. The landmarks on that corner are
the Penndot building, and a gas station. Start looking for it on the right when you pass the movie theatre complex! If at
all possible, use the directions provided above.
