Welcome to the Albany-Capital District Pug Lovers, Inc. web site.

We are a group of Pug Loving people who get together to socialize our dogs and enjoy each other. Our aim is to educate people about responsible dog ownership with Pugs as the example. We sponsor animal rescue and work to end puppy mills.

We find this web site to be a great way for local Pug Lovers help share their love of Pugs, keep members informed of upcoming events, and to attract a broader audience by introducing ourselves to the community.

Our mission is to protect the welfare of the animals we come in contact with, and to promote the humane treatment and well being of these animals by:

Providing shelter and medical care for pug rescued from puppy mills.

Responding with personal commitment, humane sensitivity, compassion, and technical skill needs of these animals.

Actively promoting suitable adoptions of the animals.

Encouraging the spay and neutering of animals, including dogs and cats to ensure the numbers of unwanted animals be kept to a minimum.

Helping to prevent the cruelty to animals by promoting animal welfare legislation and education.
