So, I got to a point in my life while recovering
from back surgery in which I asked myself what I was going to do now. Working in the construction trades is currently
not a viable option with weight limit restrictions and the healing process from the surgery. I decided to try to work
from home and promote self help and problem solving products. I will also be promoting products to help conserve energy
and emergency preparedness products as well as any other items I see fit to promote.
I was born in Bellefonte, PA in 1972. This
is located in Centre County. It is also the home of Penn State University, of which my wife is a graduate. Penn
State football is like a religion here, we know how to have a great time! I lived in Millheim, PA until the age of 7,
at which time I moved to Red Lion, PA to live with my mother and stepfaher. One year later I moved to Mifflin County,
PA near a small town named Shindle. I worked on the dairy farm my father was employed at and learned a lot of very
useful things. I lived there until 1986, when a family seperation took me to Centre County and the Bald Eagle
Valley and living near a small town called Unionville, PA. I attended and graduated from Bald Eagle Area High School
in 1990. I worked jobs in food service and was a shift supervisor at a very young age at a Hardees restaurant. I then
decided to serve my country and joined the Navy in April of 1992. Bootcamp was in Orlando, FL. so I got to spend a few
months there and see the sights. I was then assigned to the U.S.S. Butte (AE-27) stationed out of Naval Weapons Station Earle in New Jersey. She was an ammunition re-supply ship, sold to the Merchant
Marine Fleet in 1996 shortly after I was discharged. I made two Mediteranean cruises, two trips to Guantanamo Bay, went
to Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Norfolk, Charleston and lots of other great places to visit. We had two maintenance / overhaul
periods: one in Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and one in West Chester on the river South of Philadelphia. I got to experience
that life in the Big City for a total of 8 months. Click the photo below for more information at a dedicated page
to the "Lonely Bull". I was a shipboard firefighter / damage controlman. The job included training ships personnel on
firefighting techniques, flooding control, firefighting systems and equipment, maintaining Chemical, Biological, and Radiological
equipment and washdown systems and lots of other related things. It was a good time in my life.
After the service I came home to Centre County and
got married. I gained employment in the construction trade as an insulator. I worked at that until 2004.
I then worked at installing Icynene insulation, which is the spray in type foam. That was interesting, but the pay vs.
the hours was killing me, not to mention a lot of the jobs were on the road, and the wife and I did not care for that.
I then began to sub contract from a very good friend in the construction and remodeling business. We got into roofing,
plumbing, electrical, framing, landscape, painting, you name it we did it. I am a jack of all trades and master of none.
So my work experience is all over the table, which I view as helpful. Knowledge is power! That brings me to the present.
I had lumbar fusion surgery in February 2008 and am recovering just fine.
