Mission Statement: It is
the goal of the Parents Committee to ensure that all swimmers enjoy a fun and fair swim season.
Duties: The Parents
Committee is responsible for the overall administration of the team (financial,scheduling, and procurement), and serves as a liaison between the parents of the swimmers and the coaches. Additionally, the Parents Committee oversees all of
the sub committees established ( i.e. concessions,
pasta dinner, international auction, etc. )
Elections: The Parents
Committee will consist of five members. The members will be elected every two years at the last swim team meeting of the year (generally held on Labor Day weekend ). Any property owner who has a child, grandchild, or legal dependent may run for election.
One member of each property owning family who has
a swimmer on the team may vote for up to five candidates for election
The current Board will serve until the next scheduled election to be held in September 2008
Volunteers for various Parent Committees are needed. Please submit your name and the particular
Committee you are interested in.
Swim Practices will begin on June 28th. Check the schedule for age groups
and times.
