ALL BELT TRAINING March 25, 2006
More than 85 students packed the Embassy Skating Rink in Pennsburg recently as Master Bill Lees, 7th degree Black Belt from East Greenville and President of the United Taekwon-Do Federation (UTF) presented a
pattern seminar . Master Lees was assisted by Mrs. Deb Risko, 6th degree Black Belt from Legacy Taekwon-Do School of Pottstown and Technical Advisor for the UTF. The seminar was attended by all ranks of Taekwon-Do students from white belt to 6th degree Black belt ranging in age from 4 to 68. Master Lees covered all 24 patterns of Taekwon-Do with emphasis on generating power with all techniques.


UTF PATTERN SESSIONS !
Master Bill Lees conducted a series of 3 pattern training sessions. Mrs Risko & Mr Cashatt assisted with each session.  The first session on Oct 7, covered 3rd degree and above patterns and the second session on Nov 4 covered black stripe to 2nd degree.  The third and final session on Dec. 2 featured white belt tored belt patterns.  Each session was held at Master Lees' school in East Greenville and was widely attended!

Indian Valley Tournament April 8, 2006
 Students of Legacy Taekwon-Do School of Pottstown recently returned from tournament competition in Harleysville with several medals. The tournament included divison for patterns or forms, sparring and team pattern with just over 100 students competing. Medalists were:Vanessa Hoffpauir, 2nd in patterns, Kevin Henley, 2nd in Team Family Patterns, Sean Risko, 1st in patterns and sparring, Zakery Russell, 3rd in patterns, 1st in sparring and 1st in Team Jr. Patterns, Paige Henley, 2nd in patterns and sparring and 2nd in Team Family Patterns, Shane Henley 3rd in patterns and sparring and 2nd in Team Family Patterns, Tim Williams, 1st in Team Jr Patterns, James Scouton, 2nd in patterns, 4th in sparring and 1st in Team Jr Patterns, Lindsey Weaver, 1st in patterns, sparring and Team Jr Patterns and Thomas Williams, 2nd in patterns and sparring.

Master's Seminar Saturday April 15, 2006
Mr John Szostek of Norristown Taekwon-Do hosted a seminar from 9am to 5 pm featuring Master Trevor Nicholls, Secretary General of the ITF, Master Wheatley, President of the USITF. Special guest, President Choi presided over the testing and seminar to be held at the Norristown PAL building on 1101 Harding Blvd., Norristown.  Master Lees, President of the UTF joined the testing board Friday evening along with Master Wheatley (USITF) and Master Nicholls (UK).
Attending was: Mrs Risko, Mr Hartley, Mrs Hoffpauir, Mr Russell, Mr Kasper and Mrs Shaw.

Masters Seminar Group 04/15/2006

Dragon Star Tournament February 4, 2006
Congratulations to students of Legacy Taekwon-Do School for their accomplishments at the Dragon Star Taekwon-Do Tournament, Saturday February 4, 2006 held in Norristown, PA. Our Black Belt team consisting of Ms. Lindsey Weaver, Mr Ryan Strohecker and Mr Timothy Williams placed 2nd in Team Patterns.  Competing individually, Ms Weaver placed 2nd in patterns and 2nd in sparring, Mr Strohecker placed 1st in patterns, Mr Williams placed 2nd in sparring.  Also, Thomas Williams won 3rd in patterns and 4th in sparring and Soloman Bailey won 2nd in patterns and 2nd in sparring.
