This page is for you to use to review equipment.  If possible, please email me a picture of the equipment.

Click here for an Excellent site for equipment review. It has everything on it. You can even read or post a review. I have learned a lot from this site.

WHEELCHAIRS

Kid Kart
This was my son's first wheelchair.  I did not like it because it was heavy, did not fold small enough to fit in the trunk of a car, and the screw kept coming lose which caused scrapes on his legs.  Also, he broke the head rest three times.

LexEaSYS
This is the current wheelchair that I have.  There are both good and bad points.
We like the fact that it folds like a stroller, reclines so that we can change his diaper in it while "out on the town" or if he falls asleep, the material is nice and well-padded, the relfective binding is nice, the rain/wind cover is great, there is a peek-a-boo to see him while pushing him, and finally we like the adjustable handle.  We do NOT like the weight, the chest restraint, and the fact that the dealer is on the west coast.

Bathing Seats

I have a blue mesh seat.  I can't remember the brand.  The pads around the base are supposed to be mildew resistant, but yuk, no they are not.  They erode quickly and smell.  The head rest is flimsy.

FEEDING SEATS

Tumble Forms

I am not too please with the seat I have.  It has a low base.  In order to feed him in it, I have to sit on the floor.  I would prefer something that I can raise and lower depending on what he is going to be doing.

STANDERS

Easy Stand Magician
I found this too hard to use by myself.  My son has a strong extensor tone and putting him in it requires 2 people.  Plus, to go from standing to sitting, you need to readjust the headrest and other supports.  Not as easy as they claim.

Let me know if there is anything you would like to share with fellow members.
