The Association holds monthly demonstrations from October through May for members and guests featuring artist demonstrators.
The group also holds an Annual Exhibit of member's works each year, other lively special events & exhibitions, and
awards a scholarship in fine arts to a graduating Watertown High School student. We'll use this site to get the word out
on our organization and create a better sense of community among our members. We'll also include pictures of our work and
members.
Our Mission
The Watertown Art Association (WAA) was started in May 1952 by Mary Zeldin and Catherine Yerxa to "Develop the arts in
Watertown". After more than 50 years the organization is still going strong, and our mission to stimulate and promote
the appreciation and practice of art in the Watertown community and beyond continues.
