Christ Church Elizabeth is a non-denominational, Bible-believing, evangelical church with a membership consisting of various racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.  Joined together by a common love of God, our goal is to communicate in every aspect, the same love shown to us, to the world.

Our church began in July 2005 under the leadership of Pastor Derrick and Deborah Greene.  Through the pastoral oversight of Dr. David Ireland – the Senior Pastor of Christ Church (New Jersey) – a church planting team of 18 other adults accompanied the Greenes from the Montclair congregation to establish Christ Church Elizabeth.

With a desire to bring hope to the hopeless, Christ Church Elizabeth serves as an oasis in the city.
