How can you help?

We are looking for mental health professionals who are interested in volunteering by sharing their expertise in individual/family and community work in a manner that inspires, educates and collaborates with service providers in Latin America. Through this grassroots level of teaching and exchange, information is shared on many levels which allows for a broader range of applications with a higher yield of positive outcomes for families and communities.

Volunteers are also sought who can provide written resources (preferably translated into Spanish) which pertain to theoretical and practice approaches on a variety of topics related to family and community wellness.  Resources include professional articles, clinical manuals and texts as well as training videos.

Information is most frequently requested regarding:

  • Effective models of Family Therapy-theory and practice
  • Substance abuse and treatment
  • Family violence
  • Sexual Abuse/incest in families
  • Trauma- theory and recovery models
  • Gang violence
  • Models of collaboration across disciplines
  • Mental illness- individual and family approaches
  • Life cycle issues in families
  • Child and adolescent treatment

Tax-deductible donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.  Because we are a fully volunteer organization, 100% of your contribution is devoted to the mission of ICFamWell.

Checks can be written to "Intercultural Coalition for Family Wellness" and mailed to 105 Grayling Ave., Suite 300, Narberth, PA 19072.
