My name is Kevin Frushour. I'm some guy who lives
in dinky little borough named Bellevue, about three miles from
Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
"I come from Des Moines. Somebody had to."
-Bill Bryson, The Lost Continent
I come from Toledo. Somebody had to! I was born
there in 1974, and went to Whittier
Elementary School. I moved to Pittsburgh in 1986, and attended
Northgate
Junior-Senior High School. From there I completed my Associates
Degree in Psychology at Community College of
Allegheny County.
I'm interested in too many things to list
here. Most sciences, some math (I'm awful at math but there's a real
beauty to it), and history. More specifically: space science,
physics, cosmology, great disasters, and biographies. Reading
fiction, I prefer Sci-Fi. I read about 20 to 40 books a year, on
a wide variety of subjects.
I'd be the first person to tell you I'm a bit
odd. My mind rattles on unceasingly and I am often thinking about
several things at once, severely taxing my fix on what's going on in reality
sometimes. I strongly suspect I have some form of Attention Defecit
Disorder, but who has the spare money to see a psychiatrist?
My wife, Amber and I have been married since 1999. When
she smiles flowers bloom and the sun shines. She's very tolerant when I
tell her the same joke again or rattle on about
space stuff. Since 2001 we have produced three wonderful, wonderful
children!
